This button is from the late 20th century when women's fashion included buttons on their garments. This button is classified as a picture button as it depicts an image and in this case 3 hearts. The hearts are steel cuts that have been laid under a brass open cut rim casing. Circa 1890s. To create this brooch I work with coloured carded wool fleece, needle felting
